How Free PSL Scale collects, uses, and shares information when you upload a face photo for a PSL score.

Who we are

Free PSL Scale (“we”, “us”) operates https://freepslscale.com. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, including free face scoring and paid reports.

This is not legal advice. It describes our actual product. If you do not agree, do not upload a photo.

What the service does

You upload a front-facing photo. Your browser checks the image and crops the face locally. We then send that cropped image to third-party AI providers to produce a PSL-style score and, if you pay, a longer report plus a generated “potential look” image.

The score is an automated opinion for entertainment. It is not a medical, scientific, employment, or credit assessment.

Information we collect

  1. Photos you upload — A cropped face image (JPEG/PNG/WebP, up to 10 MB before processing). The original file is read in your browser; what we store and send onward is the cropped face we use for analysis.
  2. Analysis results — Score, breakdown, written report text, and any generated image tied to that run.
  3. Account data — If you sign in: email, name/avatar from the sign-in provider (for example Google), session cookies, and any leftover paid-unlock count from a multi-analysis pack.
  4. Anonymous trial data — A device fingerprint built from technical request headers (such as IP and user agent) so we can limit free runs without an account. This is not a name. It can still identify a browser over a short period.
  5. Payment data — If you buy a report, the payment processor (such as Stripe) handles card details. We store order status, amount, and the analysis it unlocked. We do not store full card numbers.
  6. Security signals — Cloudflare Turnstile tokens to reduce bots.
  7. Usage and device data — Pages visited, basic device/browser data, and error logs. If Google Analytics or Plausible is enabled, those tools also receive page-view data.
  8. Support mail — Anything you send to support@freepslscale.com.

Face photos can be treated as biometric or similarly sensitive data in some places. We only use them to run the service you asked for.

How we use it

  • Run the score, store the result, and show it back to you.
  • Unlock and generate the paid report and potential-look image.
  • Enforce free-trial limits, rate limits, and abuse checks.
  • Create an account, keep you signed in, and process payment.
  • Answer support mail and fix outages.
  • Measure traffic if analytics is turned on.

We do not sell your photos. We do not use your photos to train our own models. We do not claim the image never leaves our servers — it must, or the AI step cannot run. Third-party AI vendors may use or retain inputs under their own terms. We cannot opt you out of that from this site.

Who sees your photo

We share data only as needed to run the site:

  • AI processors (currently accessed through Kie / similar model APIs) receive the cropped face to produce the score, report text, and optional generated image. Those vendors may keep logs or inputs under their own policies. We cannot promise they delete the face on our schedule.
  • Cloud storage (for example Cloudflare R2) holds uploaded faces, results, and generated images.
  • Cloudflare may see the request for hosting, CDN, and Turnstile.
  • Payment processors (for example Stripe) see billing data, not the photo, unless you paste a link in a dispute.
  • Auth providers (for example Google) see the data you grant at sign-in.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics and/or Plausible, if enabled) see page views, not the photo file itself.
  • Authorities if the law requires it.

Every result has a URL (/result/{id}). That URL does not require a login. Anyone who has the link can open the cropped face and score. Chat apps and social sites may also fetch the face as a preview image. The id is a long random value, not a guessable name, but the link itself is a secret — treat it like a public post.

How long we keep it

  • Analyses (free and paid) stay stored so you can reopen the result. We keep them until you ask us to delete them, or until we shut the service down. A 24-hour timestamp is recorded on free runs; the site does not currently hide or delete those runs when the timestamp passes.
  • Uploaded and generated image files stay as long as the related analysis. There is no automatic file purge today.
  • Anonymous trial records (a hash of IP and user agent) stay in Cloudflare KV so we do not grant a second free run to the same browser or network.
  • Accounts, orders, leftover unlock counts, and required billing records are kept while the account is open and as long as tax or fraud rules require. Leftover unlocks stay until you use them, we delete the account at your request, or we shut the service down.
  • Support email is kept long enough to handle the request.

We do not promise that every copy vanishes from backups or third-party logs at the same second we delete a product record.

Cookies and similar tech

We use cookies and local storage for:

  • Sign-in session
  • Language / locale
  • Theme
  • Turnstile
  • Optional analytics

Free-trial limits are not a cookie. We hash the request IP and user agent and store that hash in Cloudflare KV.

You can block cookies in the browser. Essential cookies are required to stay signed in and to complete checkout.

Your choices

There is no delete button in the product today. Email support@freepslscale.com to ask us to:

  • Say what we hold about you
  • Correct it
  • Delete your account, photos, and analyses
  • Export a copy of your account data

If you only used the site without an account, include the result URL. We handle deletion by hand. We may not be able to match a fingerprint to you later.

Depending on where you live (for example EEA/UK), you may also complain to a data protection authority.

Children

The service rates adult facial appearance. It is not for anyone under 18. Do not upload a photo of a minor. If we learn that we have a child’s photo or account, we will delete it.

Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, and signed upload proofs. No website is fully secure. A face photo, once uploaded or shared, can be copied.

International transfers

The site, storage, AI, and payment vendors may process data in the United States and other countries. If you use the service from elsewhere, you accept that transfer.

Changes

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the new policy.
